Big Box Retailers Positioning to Crush Local Health Stores

Big box retailers are positioning themselves to crush local natural and co-op food stores with “natural” and “organic” foods that are not environmentally friendly, that disrupt local economies, and that have the potential to stress many thousands of local farmers or even put them out of business.
According to the USDA, since 1960 more than 1.5 million acres of farmland is converted to nonagricultural use every year.
